Probably Fine

Probably Fine is an independent reference site documenting the structure, governance, policies and publicly available information relating to care and education of children in Luxembourg. Every parent is learning as their child does: we have a complicated system which it can be difficult to guide a child through.

The emphasis is on sources, institutional memory and public information: this site is intended to give constructive guidance based on verifiable data. This has grown out of the same questions asked on facebook, ad nauseam: “is this school OK?” “is this commune an OK place for my family?” “what language should my child speak?” “how can I fix X perceived problem coming from the school?”.

This site is not intended to criticise the government or the teaching profession, nor is it intended to protect or enhance their reputations, nor is it really intended as advocacy for reform. It is envisioned as a resource to help parents to do the best possible for their children in the system as it exists.
